Sunday's

So it is Sunday thank goodness. The only day of the week that we are officially allowed to rest due to the fact that it says so in the Bible. So that is what we are all doing. It's rainy outside, it's cold outside and very dull looking and this is what we all have to look forward to from now until March 2010. (That was the first time I have ever written 2010....I still remember Y2k....How time flies)

So while everyone in the house including the one visitor we have for the day are playing the new Disney Trivia Wii game that I just discovered was for people aged 3 and up..(lol) I'm sitting at the table listening to them all complain how shit the game is and how it has not got alot to do with Disney after all. Well at least I am laughing....but only at them, I thought I would continue my Blog with a new post about the place i currently call Home......LONDON.

A week later.....

My partner and I have been here now in London since June the 11th, 2007. The day we arrived was a huge shock and that's because when we finally got out of the airport and onto the train, and we were heading into the city centre, we went past rows and rows and rows of old, small, run down and dirty looking house's and because we come from a beautiful place called the Gold Coast, well what can I say...we were tempted inbetween our thought's of what the hell have we done and who would live here on purpose to move back to the land of Oz. Well as you can tell, we didn't. We stuck it out and 2 and a half years later (like i said, time flies) we are still living in the old, small, run down and dirty place we now call home. But I do miss the Goldy and each day that goes by I seem to miss it more. But I'm not sure if that is because I have not been working for a fortnight and I have way to much time to think and since I'm inside all day cause it is cold out I have put myself in a missing home kind of mood. Or...do I miss the sun and beach and not taking public transport everywhere and the lack of people in such a large area and NRL and Friends and Family. So who knows but for now I am here and I will keep doing what I am doing and supporting my partner while her carreer takes off and I will just go and see as many concerts as I can cause one great thing about London is that there are always great bands playing somewhere nearby and that for me is a gift. I think in 2009 I would have seen up to 30 to 40 bands play. It is awesome when that can occur. I do love my music.

So for now I will say Sayonara.

  1. Having that many bands on your doorstep would be just terrific! I'm jealous!
